Kayt Mathers: Kayt began her career in wine distribution and retail before finding wine PR. She worked at Teuwen Communications in New York City, coordinating campaigns and events for restaurants, wine brands and wine regions. Kayt joined First Press Public Relations in 2011, where she managed restaurant and wine clients, including California Wine Month, Cider Week and Aquavit, among others. In August 2015, Kayt moved back home to Oregon and started Play Nice Public Relations with the goal of working with independent companies in the food, beverage and cannabis space. Kayt is a graduate of Portland State University and has a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. She is fluent in French and Spanish.

Linh Tu: Linh has extensive experience working in public relations/marketing, events, operations, and business development for hospitality and food & beverage clients in New York, Miami, and Las Vegas. She has launched hotels, restaurants, lounges, and bars for high-profile international/national hospitality groups and chefs, including Hotel Hugo, Bar Hugo, SUSHISAMBA, KG-NY Restaurant Group, Chef John DeLucie, Hakkasan, Menin Hospitality, Chef Herb Wilson (former Top Chef Masters contestant), and others. Linh is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and is certified in Revenue Management from Cornell University. Linh manages Play Nice’s restaurant accounts.

Marina Oriel: Marina came to Play Nice PR with a background in political outreach, nonprofit fundraising, communications and culinary arts. She graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Vermont. Prior to joining Play Nice, Marina led outreach efforts of a nonprofit organization that works with coffee farmers in Guatemala and managed marketing operations for a local coffee roaster. Marina currently manages outreach and social media for Play Nice’s winery and CBD clients, coordinates events and sample campaigns, and conducts daily media outreach.

Marielle Dezurick: Marielle has been a social media manager in Portland for more than three years, creating social campaigns for both local and national clients. Marielle, a recent graduate of Portland State University, received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, with a minor in Advertising. She has managed the social media channels for a variety of clients, including restaurants, bars, a wholesale jam company, a concert venue, a homebuilder, a wedding cake designer, and a baseball bat company. Marielle is not only Play Nice’s resident social media expert, she also develops media strategies for several restaurant clients and the Oregon Truffle Festival.
