Les Caves, a subterranean, candle-lit winery bar, is a destination for curious wine drinkers and serious wine collectors alike. Named after the French word for cave and cellar, Les Caves has a global wine list highlighting natural and raw wines, served by the glass and bottle.
Les Caves was founded by three winemakers: John House and Ksenija Kostic House of Ovum Wines, the only producer in the state devoted entirely to white wine varieties, and Jeff Vejr, owner and winemaker of Golden Cluster, dedicated to the Willamette Valley’s lesser-known grape varieties.
Since opening in June 2017, Les Caves has established itself as a wine tasting destination where locals and travelers alike can have a new sensory experiences and learn about wine. It is a wine bar with an educational backbone, focused on discovery and the freedom to talk about wines and winemaking without convoluted terminology.
