Chef Vitaly Paley’s newest restaurant in Portland is Rosa Rosa, an ode to his grandmother Rosa and a nod to the City of Roses. Located on the corner of Park and Alder Avenues in the Dossier, the menu at Rosa Rosa draws inspiration from the Mediterranean and the Caucasus Mountains.
An all-day menu is served in the front of the restaurant, while Rosa Rosa’s Back Room, offers a more intimate space with a menu of New York City Italian fare from Executive Chef Kenny Giambalvo, such as spaghetti carbonara and chicken scarpariello.
A cocktail menu from Charles Hildreth takes cues from the kitchen, incorporating rose water, sumac, honey, anise, cardamom, and more.
