Open in October 2026, Bar Sprezzatura is a new restaurant by Chef Michael Mina and The Mina Group, opening at the historic Heathman Hotel in the heart of downtown Portland. Chef Michael Mina's only restaurant in the Pacific Northwest, Bar Sprezzatura is a bar-forward, all day dining destination inspired by the traditional bàcari of Venice, led by Executive Chef Justin Ramirez

The experience at Bar Sprezzatura centers around a beverage program that highlights Spritzes, Negronis, Martinis, and Classic Cocktails, alongside a deep back bar of amaro, regionally-specific liqueurs, gin, vodka, and whiskey. The lunch and dinner menus are designed for both everyday occasions and celebratory gatherings. Cicchetti, savory small snacks typically served in a Venetian bar, will be a highlight—alongside handcrafted pastas, local meat and seafood, pizzettes, and more. The menus will showcase locally sourced ingredients selected by Executive Chef Justin Ramirez and the culinary team.
